The birthday celebration was great. He played bass on stage with the Hearts of Romaine, others did some numbers, and Segovia was there, grooooving his sweet bass line. Segovia said a few words, but you know him: he'd prefer to be on the sound board or the bass - making someone else sound good.
He was touched, pleased, and even expressed surprise - "You guys would do this for me?"
Yeah, man, you are EXACTLY the kind of guy we would do this for...
